Something about the summer makes the hipsters come out of the woodwork. Last summer you couldn't throw up without hitting someone wearing a fedora. Don't get me wrong- I shop at UO occasionally myself. I even applied to work there one summer. I would have lost my paycheck to Frye boots. Here are some hipster trends for this summer that can be achieved for not too much cash.
Vintage glasses (I guess it is cool to be nerdy because people are rocking the glasses)
Goodwill has some nice
frames (lot is for 2 pairs) for $12
Threadbare t-shirts Men's Hanes white v-neck t-shirts are available at Target and plenty of other places. A men's small=women's medium.
Gladiator sandalsAMIClubwear is kind of cheesy but they have trendy cheap footwear. These fuchsia
sandals are only $9.99.
Racerback tanksKohl's has some in great
colors for $7.99.
Floral dressesThis
vintage one has some flounce to it at $30 and cheaper versions can be found in numerous stores.
Cross-body purses (the tiny ones are most popular)
Here is a nice medium sized
bag on Etsy for $36.50.
